I am solving one problem , just want to confirm that i am right or if not please correct me , i am just confused at OE at beg.

Total liab 56000
OE ?
Revenue 72000
Net Profit 30000
OE at beginning ?
Ans
OE = 96000 -56000 = 40000
OE at beg = OE - profit = 40000-30000= 10000 (is this right)
