hey guyz...i need someones opinion on this ...i m a student of acca and so far i have only completed the first part..i was curious about whether i shuld start my article ship now or not and if yes then where could i find a company which would hire me..i m a resident of lahore, pakistan

Well Usman,
If u want to join articleship then in my personal opinion you should join a firm or company when you have completed your certificate stage. bcaz being finalist of ACCA you will be able get articleship in a good reputed firms or company, of if u join articleship after qualifying ACCA then u can be hired by AFF, KPMG, PSO, Unilever etc. at an acceptable stipend. But the most important thing which you should keep in your mind that will u be able to concentrate on your studies after spending minimum 8 to 10 hours in office, for the new coming students in Articleship sometimes it becomes very difficult to manage both office and studies.
as far as the companies which can hire you, i m sorry in this regard, as i dont know about the lahore. but i think like in karachi you should go to ACCA office they will guide you about the companies, or even on ACCA's website you can get the names and addresses of accredited employers of ACCA.

Yes i agree with SM RAZA as u shall comlete the article ship after certificate stage. But if you have the capabilities and think that you can work and study at the same time then go for it dont waste time at least its what i did. BUT WORK IN A WELL REPUTED FIRM
