hi,

i too used to be a CA student before i left for ACCA and mashallah going steady.

first of all dont at all be dishearted. i know how u would be feeling as i have gone through this.

As far as what qualification to choose, i would say that as long as you trust yourself, go for ACCA. I have found it to be professionally very challenging and complete (not to mention on par with CA).

When i left CA, i knew i was not a bad student and trusted myself, if you too trust yourself, then any professional qualification will provide with a strong foundation to base you career.

adios

well for paper structure and general information, it would be best if you visit the ACCA website.

As far as the difficulty level is concerned, i belong to the A-levels background and somewhat find it similar (as both are part of the British education system ), but ACCA being a professional qualification, is a little more challenging. I have friends who were never cheetah students but have managed to pass the papers in first attempt by simply studying hard (and when i say hard, it does not mean like CA, it means working hard normally, not extra-ordinarily.)

And lastly, i have absolutely no idea regarding institutes in ISB as i am from Karachi.

adios
