Dear,
WHT has to be deposited within the specified time as prescribed under Income Tax Rules 2002, since the rules specifies different time period for different person, however, normally WHT is to be deposited within 7 days of the deduction.

I will be glad if you provide any such notification / circular, which states to pay tax within 10 days.

The CNG stations come under PTR. Now while declaration (filing of Icome tax return) the Profit and loss item should be mentioned in the declaration or we shall only mention the tax deducted @ 4% in Suigas bill and claim refund for tax deduted in electricity bill.

WHT is deducted upto a month is deposited and filled upto 20th of next month.Sometime ago it was 15th.
