Old topic on internet-initiated love revisited - Dard - 02-04-2010

There was a topic started by lioness years ago. I hope she is fine now. I started this topic because so many years have passed and i didn't feel right to reply there
The word "love" always tickles something in my heart. And i just love successful love stories.
It is an established fact that internet affairs are fake. However, there are exceptions to every general rule. And i must say the PpL having those exceptions are really lucky. Sometimes i wish i had never started chatting. It changed my life alot. I was not what i am now.
I would advise to all my fellows not to go for someone you know not of completely. Never take anyone seriously in a short period of time. And don't believe if someone says he/she loves you when your communication was only limited to the internet.
Focus on your careers, concentrate on the physical world around you. Internet chatting se kuch bhi nahin mile ga. It is just a waste of time. One day you will be laughing at yourself. Most PpL there are fake, time passers and liars

i feel there is no such thing as falling in love online. it's not possible unless the person is just "TOO DESPERATE"

- rabia-k - 02-10-2010

how can anyone even trust, let alone love, a stranger he/she chats with online?

- Dard - 02-10-2010

Chatting online with someone doesn't mean he/she is a total stranger. The communication may not be limited to text chatting only

- rabia-k - 02-10-2010

i specifically mean a stranger one meets in a chat room.
