Correlation Coefficient - sikitheguru - 02-08-2010 Which of the following correlation coefficient indicates the weakest relationship between two variables? A. + 1.0 B. +0.4 C. -0.6 D. -1.0 As the answer according to book is B. + 0.4 because( The nearer to 0 the correlation coefficient the less correlation between the variables). My question Isnt -0.6 also nearer to zero am confused in between these two values + 0.4 and - 0.6.
