Why so many ppl going for ACCA - muzammil - 03-26-2004

I don't understand what is the reason behind that is making most of the people go for ACCA? Is it because CA is tough and ACCA is easier comparatively? Is it because CA is in stagnant condition? OR the requirements for entering ACCA are much more achieveable comparatively to CA? Because people staying in Pakistan will be benefited by ACCA to what extent?

we shouldn,t think that acca is just nothing .... although CA ha sgot it,s charm as it,s a challanging field... as it,s sadi kay YEH HER AIK KAY BUS KI BAT NAHI HAY ...

but in acca passing ratio is high so ppl thin kit ot be easy ... how ever syllabus wise acca.s syllabus i smore practical & it get,s updates regularly....
i,m nto sayign all this cz i,m in favour of acca but cz i have goen through both these fields & i enjoyed both of them.....

One thing more that ACCA have international acceptance than CA. This factor also makes students to come into ACCA. ACCA core papers are very difficult to study and i really mean it. But due to ACCA exams passing criteria i.e, 50% wala is pass this also make student to come to ACCA. In CA u dont know what is the min pass marks.

For ICAP there is no passing or failing marks system... What I've learnt is that they pick those 40-50 students who have scored the highest marks all over, although the others they have failed might have managed to clear the exams but not managed to score in the highest percentile.

one more factor is
in acca training requirements & not much tough as in ca
in ca trainee,s r given hell of a work ..... but slipend is ......

however in acca ur job experience can also be considered as training .

The one thing is that ACCA is not Value able in pakistan as well in uk
basically it is an Certificate Corse as a private institution is on the back of that now Oxford Brooks University had moved from there assosiation and they have dispute over there.This is now top edge of News in Uk's student NewsPaper and web's now in pakistan no degree got by University of Oxford Brooks only 2 student got it now they had closed it bcoz private institute is over there and ruling internationaly ....

dear brother i can understand you are in under circumstances donot think that acca is comparateively to ca now this time majorty of students could not clear their exam acca also toughest job like ca and its so expensive if you realsied then you have to paied 6000 fee for one paper donot take it easily but think possitevly just click on your mind and look forward to achive your goal
