Salaam, Yaar actually it is upto the firm that what they will ask. One of my friend (ACCA Affiliate) with no such reference has recently selected as trainee in Ford Rhodes. He says that they take a test and 2 interviews like other international firms do. So it is better to have good knowledge of standards. Good maths, english is must. The firm can ask anything from u. I think hot topics are TAX, Law, IAS, Some audit stuff questions. Current news abt international companies, like enron and paramalat. Economics. Yaar it is better that prepare as much as possible for tests. And if u r doing ACCA then pass all papers and then apply.

Good Firms are
AF FEROGOSONS
FORD RHODES
KPMG Taseer Hadi Khalid & Co
Riaz Ahmad & Co
Anjum Asim Shahid & Co.
M Hussain Chaudhury & Co
M. Yousuf Adil Saleem & Co

I hope this will be enough.
TAKE CARE AND STUDY HARD.

It is dependent upon the vacancies available in the firm, sometimes big firms hire average students in the season when they are in shortage of trainees, and if they are not in need of trainees then they usually ask rough and tough question which creates impression that the interview was very hard and they are rejected. I used to do the same <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
