Aimad , BAD-LUCK word is not in my dictionary ) .. i believe whatever happens happens for a reason which is good for me ...
Well i traced one of my known seniors, working in AFF as a senior manager , i told him all this situation happened , he said that it happens many a times, sometimes due to mistake or errors or even name similarities, so nothing to worry about .. Tomorrow he'll accompany me and we'll talk to the HR dept.. Hope i'll get a call.... but now i have different plans ... they crossed the limit !!
Lets see what happens tomorrow !!

when did they start the freaking recruitment procedure at lahore they didn't update their website about that.

people please answer this as i am very nervous right now , which big4 firms will start induction in May (at Lahore office )
And when is AFF expected to start induction again and can i still submit my cv at their office in lahore

Hasan, aimaad gave his interview in Islamabad office, not Lahore. And I believe KPMG is inducting trainees in May in Lahore office. Don't know about other firms. CHEERS!!!

@Aimad , guess what D Darama happened today !! Man it was awesome !! I went to AFF and the molvi wasn't there P .. i straight away went to the HR dept , with the senior guy and had a full discussion ... Finally i got my name on the WAITING LIST @ and i hate that too....
yaar , sachi say , they have disappointed me !! very bad !!... oper say that senior told me one thing , that when they'll call u for interview , u'll be asked about AFGHANISTAN !! he said " FORAN HAAN BOLNA " else they'll reject you !!
i was AMAZED !! what if someone has problem and can't manage to go there ?? then ?? he said then chuti kero !!
hadh ha yaar... and he even told me many other things abt AFF , he said wahan per ROBOTIC style ha working ka D saray MACHINE ban jatay hain D hahah ...
kahir , im more looking towards other big 3 ... halat kharab hain yaaar AFF ka oper say yeh afganistan wala system , man even if they call me for interview i would say that NO FOR AFGHANISTAN !!

Talking about Afghanistan, when i went to take form from EY, couple of trainees in the lift were talking about going to Afghanistan.
Also my friend working at EY was sent to Tajikistan for some kinda assignment, and this wasn't on secondment, just routine work.

I guess Tajikistan is okay, but Afhganistan!! Just too dangerous ;p
idiotboy thats is some useful info and probably true as well! My answer to the question was 'perhaps, or I think so' I didnt give them a sure answer and made clear i wasnt eager to go there. I hope they wont reject me because of that, and if they do then so be it!!
Yar I guess we will find some problems with all firms, there wont be any perfect place. We'll have to adjust and obviously make sacrifices.
Haroon where else will they get trainees from Afhganistan from? Do they have their own CA system? Im not sure.

@Aimaad, yes.. true info plus very relevant and helpful.. we have to understand all these things before putting a step into them .. well , i heard KPMG ma bht " DANDA " mahool hay , very strict + very professional , also they have a large portfolio ..

kahir .. ur right problems tu face kerni parain gi.. lets see.. and yaar Afghanistan does not has its own CA , yahan pakistanion nay contract liya hwoay hain all of the industry yet still working over there !! like they said , AFF ka office hay wahan per S khudh socho yaar kya learning hogi wahan per ... what will u mention in ur CV afterwards ?? AUDIT SPECIALIST FROM AFGHANISTAN D lolz ...

They never send you to Afghanistan for three years its 6 months at most, at least that is the case with my friends working in AFF in Islamabad.

I really don't know where you get these facts from, I know a number of people who have volunteered to go there and they are the ones who usually stay long there.
