Career counselling - Ace - 07-19-2010

Hello everyone !
I am a student of A2, i got 7 As in my o levels and am from commerce background. I am confused as to what to do after my a levels [(]
I have been told that for enduring CA a high tolerence level for economics is needed and that there are very few good unis in karachi for CA .
My preference is CA as the market for MBA is declining . Could someone please help me out as for what to choose BBA or CA . Please any help would be appreciated ^_^

Asalam o alikum
Well Chartered Accoutancy is mixuture of variuos subjects intial modules are preety easy and as higer you go the tougher it gets..
its not mainly Economics infact economics makes a very little part of CA we have just one paper concerning economics however that is also in module A

another thing which i would like to mention is there are exemptions from various papers for A levels students..so u whould better check out www.icap.org.pk and visit ICAP office karachi at Teen Talwar...

further CA mainly needs Good memory and A bit of IQ ....and core subjects are Accounting(IFRS),Taxation,Corporate Law and Business and financial management...

BEst of Luck!!! thanks
