Sorry to mislead the EOBI pro-rata information.
If there is gross salary for a month becomes less than 6000 then EOBI would be 1% of that gross salary?

EOBI rate is uniformed for every one. 6% of Minimum Wage Rate in which 1% is paid by employee & 5% is paid by employer
e.g. Minimum wage rate for 2010 is Rs 7000
Total EOBI
6% of 7000 = 420
Breakup
1% of 7000 = 70 (Employee Contribution)
5% of 7000 = 350 (Employer Contribution)
