Assalam o Alaikum to all the forum members.
i would like all the tax consultants to please give their opinion in the following question "can the tax authorities issue provisional assessment order under section 122C regarding a tax year prior to tax year 2010. i mean for tax year 2009 or 2008 or even for an earlier tax year".

JI bilkul Commissioner Provisional Assessment Order U/S122C issue kar sakta hay pichly 5 sal tak ka.
Par U/S 122C Provisional Assessment Order issue karny say pahly usy sub-section (3) or sub-section (4) of section 114 Notice issue karna zarori hay. Agar 30 din may ap us Notice par amal nahi karyn gay tab Provisional Assessment Order U/S122C ho ga.
