Debit and Credit can be define as the alphabets of Accounting.
as we can't define the letter A in english, So we can't define Dr and Cr except as the alphabets of accounting.

Dr. (debitoor) and Cr. (creaditoor)
shows left and right side of an account

origionally theseword are taken from holly bible.
