With all other reasons these are the policies of old FCAs who do not wish to change ICAP rules and i still do not think that ICAP has well diversified course structure to cope with the needs of ever changing professional environment, like recently much increasing focus of IFAC on 'ethics in work environment' and other professional development issues has led accountancy bodies to included Ethics in their curriculum and ICAEW was the first body which has taken initiative to include Ethics in their curriculum and now ACCA has also taken steps towards these matters while unfortunately ICAP is still having their old curriculum and no change is expected, beside Accountancy and Audit there are lot of other issues which must be taken in to accout in order to cope with ever changing environment similarly ICAP is also focusing lot on IT and infact in three out of six modules they are teaching their students IT which value nothing in the life of professional Accountants(I am not fully rebuting this subject but 3 papers of IT and similarly 3 papers of law making things absurd)...

I hope this cleares my point of view regarding ICAP policies...
