By import and export i am guessing you are referring to logistics. My company itself is a manufacturing and trading company. We are actively involved in buying equipments from Germany, USA etc and selling it in Gulf countries including IRAQ and south Asia including Pakistan. Most of our orders exceed 5 million USD. The logistics guys are basically involved in LC, delivery, port issues, customs, chamber of commerce etc. Finance people do regularly cordinate with logistics department.
There are many trading companies in UAE with small to large logistics department. These jobs do not require any particular qualification. Most of the logistics guys at my company are BCOM and MCOM. The point is the kno how of regulations. I mean can you handle a shipment from germany which will be landed at Dubai Port and then shipped again to the customer in IRAQ or Pakistan. Thats the technical know how required. However, of course you can get an entry level job in logistics where you start fresh. Unfortunately i do not have a solid idea of these kind of jobs and the current market for them. I can confirm you that these jobs are available. You can go to gulf news job section and look for LOGISTICS positions. The only problem with logistics is that the banking and federal regulations on import export varies in every country. So you might be an expert logistics guy in Pakistan but might know very less of what goes in UAE.
Salary would range anything in between 6k - 12k. Depending on experience and company size mostly.

Dear DxB.Raf
Thanks a lot for these amazing suggestions.. I will definitely try my best to make myself capable of doing all these task of logistic, independently .. Just a last query which is unbelievable that the salary range u mentioned ... Kindly ensure me that i could really get 6k minimum ? .. it is quite surprising coz its above my expectations..
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
I feel 6k is a gettable salary. If the company is small it might just pay you 4k. As i said it would depend on company size and the size of their trade operations. Without any experience it is still hard to get an interview call.
I would suggest you to google trading regulations in UAE. You can get most of the thoritical information on internet such as proceedures, documents, departments involved etc. This way you may get the book knowledge which will help you during interviews. Knowing nothing would take you no where.
