I was reading about actuary on these forums, and was at their website to get some more information about it. Since I am in UK, I need some information on how can I register my self with the Yorkshire Actuary Society, since I am in Leeds right now.
Regards
Ali

Ali, welcome to the forum. Why donât you email the YAS President? His contact details are on Institute of Actuaries website under Actuarial Societies. I'm sure he would be able to advise you further on this.
Another society to join to get the feel for the profession would be Staple Inn Actuarial Society. I am not going to promote this society but I think it would give a beginner a good feel for Profession through their supplementary The Actuary magazine. I think their contribution for certain category students is about £6 per annum. Again their contact details would be on Institute of Actuaries website.
Goof Luck
