There were three partners in an audit firm named X.Khan, Y.Khan and Z.Khan, so they had named the firm "X.Khan, Y.Khan, Z.Khan & Co.". On a dull evening when almost everybody had left the office except the senior most Khan who was busy somehow when the phone rang...
The eldest Khan picked the phone unwillingly and groaned "Hello!!"... A sweet & gentle female voice asked "May I talk to Mr. Khan?.... A bit shaky & doubtful about 'would-be' reply eldest Khan replied "I'm sorry, he's out of city..."... "Well, may I talk to second Mr. Khan?... the voice asked.. "Hold on I check it out!!!"... eldest Khan checked the 2nd Khan but he'd left...."I'm sorry, he's just left the office"... eldest Khan replied.... "Oh!! then please can you make me talk to the third Mr.Khan?... desperate lady at the other end asked?.... "Yes...I'm speaking... what can I do for you?"......
Well, I don't know how many of readers would enjoy the joke same way as I did. Actually I'd forgotten it long ago but it was current issue of "Pakistan Accountant" which reminded me this.
Out of total 76 pages, almost 50 pages were dedicated to "Model Financial Statements - Presentation & Disclosures" and in the end "About the Author" box stated "You can also download the above material from www.iasplus.com"
(Am I still unjustified to call them parrots???)
