ICAP wants to revise its course in the near future perhaps after the coming SPRING, 2005 attempt.e.g;
1-- Repealing the MFC system after MFC-10th Batch.
2-- Either full fail or full pass system in each module.
3-- Revision of the courses of certain papers like FAC-1 & 2, TAXATION, COMPANY LAW, ADVANCED ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL REPORTING, ADVANCED TAXATION & IT.
IMPORTANT NOTE In company law paper, a large portion of secreterial practices is being added, which is tested in Corporate law paper at the final level). In FAC papers, some new IASs' will be added & they are testable in the immediate attempt. In Tax, all the recent ammendments that are occuring daily especially in ITO, 2001 & Sales Tax Act, 1990)
4-- Change in the passing marks criteria. (an example is the recent announcement of passing marks by ICAP.i.e; 50%)
5-- The most trembling news--addition of one or more papers at the foundation/intermediate level.
Whether ICAP is doing right or wrong?
