i want a little help here.
i just did FSC and i want to opt for ACCA. Wud i have to go for CAT first? which is the best university for ACCA in islamabad? According to wht i have heard people respect bachelorz abroad. Can u do bachelors after ACCA? which one would be more preferable? and how long will it take? how could u do Bsc (hon) after ACCA?...can u tell me a bit about tht. i am opting for abroad but u never know of circumstances and where they might lead you.So wht is ACCA's scope in pakistan and uk?

how can you do BSc(hon)along wid ACCA?
i am finding out stuff about ACCA..and it was written in some post tht you could do it after clearin part 2. how can u do tht?

acca's gaining scope in pakistan. you can get a job on its basis solely.
skans is good, uci if also good. its basically self study, doesn't matters much which institute you join. after clearing part 2 you will have to write a research project (not a huge one) under supervision of a mentor which could be your teacher employer etc. you will then submit it to oxford brookes university uk. if you get a pass then you will be awarded the degree.
You will get equivalence if you have completed 12 years education. Usually they cut off 10% numbers & give you the appropriate grade if the degree you hav obtained is based on internal assessment. If external assessment, then you may get the same percentage here as you obtained in your foreign degree. but thats not always the case. check out http//www.ibcc.edu.pk/Equivalence/equivalence.asp and click on you country alphabet on the left pane. You will get information from there. and if you have further confusion, let me know your country, degree & percentage & i'll contact the ibcc. they will atleast give a vague idea about your equivalence.

Thanks a lot, man... you're REALLY help. Well, I tried that option but it says that it's under construction. Can't we Pakis have sumthing done at time? Even THIS important site is under construction... that's really sick. Like a month before it was also "under construction". I mean is there sum "construction" happening AT ALL? Anyways, ausman, I'd REALLY appreciate if you could contact them and get a rough idea about my marks... can I contact you through PM or sumthing? Is there sum option for PMing you here? Please, let me know. And Thanks again.

CIMA is a management accounting qualification. if you get membership of CIMA i.e clear all exams+get 3 years relevant experience then you can also get membership of icma pakistan without any further hitches. so thats a very nice qualification. it has good value in pakistan as well as abroad.
skans started cima classes last year (i think they closed it coz of shortage of students) & universtiy of lahore also started classes last year & ucat too. dont know what happend to uol & ucat (are the classes still going on or not) it would be better to contact them directly. i think all of these are good colleges except university of lahore. you have to study yourself. it doesn't matters much where are you studying.
