Well history suggests that both type of marriages have been successful as well as in some instances failures. But speaking of tradition, it is something old and many keep a view that it is outdated (I certainly dont go with tradition.....prefer mordernization). Personally I feel that the type of marriage one prefers is the one that he/she feels satisfied with.

My mom says that i should fall in love and get married and i would get her full support on this.

LOL now what should we call this type of marriage... Love or arranged?!! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

In my case, it was love at first sight.......then I told my mother and now its being arranged.......so shouldn't it be called Love-Arranged Marriage <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

In love marriage the girl wants to remain girlfriend, but the husband becomes rewaitee husband and wants to see the woman in shape of typical wife, so the clash starts right from there, then the girls usually says that he is not the same man whom with i got married.

so i think, the best situation is, arranged marriage, but if somebody has germs of Majnoon or Ranjha, then he must adopt the policy of Guybrush, i.e. first Love and then arranged <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi Raza!
U r an interesting fellow!!! C.A. studies haven't dull ur other senses! But my friend, whatever happened to that innocent teenage love? Perhaps ur first love with a cousin or a relative?
I know what happened. While we were trying these C.A. exams, she went away to States (crying and still saying she loves u). Well by the time u qualified, real life has sobered u enough to either accept somebody u know from work or the cousin no body would like to look at! (one is love marriage other arranged)
Either way marriage becomes a drag! Most of the time u are at work for those urgent audit reports and soon u don't notice u r married (unless it is time to pay kids school bills!!)
But look that this way! Thank God that u have some one to share ur life with. 2/3 of the world is in such a turmoil, people r strugging to save their lives. Can u imagine, most of the world live on under Two dollars a day!
So my friend, arranged or loved, we just need to be thankful for what we have! We could be in Rawanda or Liberia and all we will be getting is a bullet( backside or front your choice)
Take care!!

My friends, it doesnt matter if its a love marriage or arranged, in all cases it eventually becomes batting practice. Batting practice for your wife, that is, the frying pan as the bat and yer head as the ball! <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

Agreed. Btw, i'd prefer to get a bullet upfront. Sitting on my office chair would be hell if i get one in my backside! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Yeap.....so right......It will mess up the chair..

and think about the fuss that will be created.......

I mean, they have estimated the useful life of the chair as 10 years on written down method...... the bullet messed up the chair and now accountants have to pass all those journal entries to write off the chair.......also the write-off needs to get approved by the Board too........
well hell of a fuss that bullet in the rear have created
