yes CIMA can be done in pakistan i dont know about multan but in karachi there r few schools who are offering classes for CIMA's foundation level but after the foundation you are on your own because of lack of good teachers for the qualification . Most students opt for uk to complete there course but none the less not to loose hope there are also few students who have completed it from here so basically it all depends on hard work and through some sources i was told that a

Due to the success of the first cohort of the Institute of Directors/CIMA Diploma in Company Direction, CIMA is pleased to announce details of the second cohort, which will commence in Jul,2005.
The corporate governance debate has meant that companies need to ensure directors – both executive and non-executive - understand and comply with the law. It is vital they are up-to-date with best practice and current business thinking. Those who are – or aspire to become – directors of organisations, are increasingly required to demonstrate that they have benchmarked their knowledge, understanding and expertise against leading edge practice.
Against this background, the Institute of Directors and CIMA have joined forces and created the CIMA Diploma in Company Direction. This qualification is specifically tailored for CIMA members at board or senior management level.
The programme reflects the issues and concerns facing CIMA members today. It covers aspects of corporate governance, directors’ responsibilities, and strategy on how to improve business performance. It also provides delegates with an excellent opportunity to meet, network with and learn from their peers in other organisations. Successful completion of the Diploma can lead on to the IoD’s professional qualification, Chartered Director, which demonstrates the ultimate in director professionalism.
To find out more about this qualification, take a look at the IoD/CIMA Diploma in Company Direction brochure, and at the latest dates for the second cohort commencing in July 2005.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

Currently there is no institute in Multan offering CIMA coaching. As per my knowledge there is no CIMA qualified teacher in Multan.

NEWS RELEASE

13 March 2006

CIMA launches Certificate of Business Accounting to reflect latest
demands on business

CIMA – the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – has launched
ground-breaking revisions to its qualification, which will appeal to
both financial, and increasingly, non-financial staff. CIMA’s revised
Certificate of Business Accounting qualification is designed to develop
the fundamental skills and techniques necessary for success in a rapidly
changing business environment, with modules ranging from business
economics and financial accounting through to ethics, corporate governance
and business law.

The revised Certificate of Business Accounting was developed following
extensive consultation with a working group of CIMA members and meets
the criteria set out by developments in the International Federation of
Accountants (IFAC) arena. It will be launched at the CIMA Lecturers’
Conference on 13 March, while the new Certificate syllabus assessments
will be available from 30 September 2006.

In launching these groundbreaking updates to the CIMA Certificate in
Business Accounting, Robert Jelly, Director of Education, said

"The Certificate’s flexibility as both a stand alone qualification for
non financial managers and an entry level route to the professional
Chartered Management Accountant Qualification will ensure its relevance to
employers and students alike.

"The driving forces behind the changes have been the rapidly changing
business and regulatory environments and CIMA’s focus on ensuring
employers are increasingly attracted to the CIMA qualifications framework,
both for financial and increasingly non-financial staff."

He added

"The focus on ethics and corporate governance reflects our commitment
to remain at the forefront of delivery of products and services for
accounting in business."

Students will be awarded the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting on
successful completion of five examination subjects. As with the
previous qualification, assessment continues to be based upon five modules,
which have been renamed and renumbered as follows

Paper C01 Fundamentals of Management Accounting.
Paper C02 Fundamentals of Financial Accounting.
Paper C03 Fundamentals of Business Mathematics.
Paper C04 Fundamentals of Business Economics.
Paper C05 Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business
Law.

Students must sit all examinations at one of CIMA’s approved assessment
centres using computer based assessment methodology. The five module
examinations may be taken in any order and in any combination of
subjects.

There will be less opportunities for a part qualified CIMA. You will pribably get internship in some firm. It would be much better kay jub managerial level kay 3 papers pass kar liye hain tu baqi bhi himmat kar kay pass kar lo. After completing CIMA qualification you will get around 25K+.

Completing CIMA qualification means having 3 years practical experience other than passing all the papers of CIMA. (Which is a requirement for full CIMA membership/ACMA). 25k+ means it can be more than 25k.
