'farrukhnajam' i think u must concentrate on your ca and u sure complete it (if u want to live in pak.)let me clear here by doing cima u may also get a good job, BUT THE one thing which must be clear, is about your 'MOOD', there is lots of difference in a ACA's and CIMA's.
U may say that half or more of education/qulaification/courses in both bodies are same , but there is a hell of difference in their jobs/workings. So U Must decide first what u want to do or where u want to stand.
AND U MR. ACCOUNTANT 1(i think u are REALLY only 1)
by your posts it seems your are an agent or might be taking some type of commision from your org. cima,(just joking)
first tell us how do u get sooooooooo much time for writing such looooooooooooooooooog posts, it seems that your study(cima) is so much easy, which i don't think so,since it is world wide acepted and recognised and also demanding qualification(obviously difficult like all others with some + and -)
BUT a question must be seen and answered from all points , and must be with facts.
So when the question of cima comes in pakistan, 'PAKISTAN' itself, is a big factor which u must disclose or disscuss.
i don't think 25 or 25+ is a good salary (specialy when if u r married).
can u give just some of the names or tell about of some the peoples who are earning a good salary.(since it is a second big critical point for making decision for your life, the first factor is 'MIND or DESIRE'
which i already disscussed first)
So..............
let me help u in starting it, since(by grace of god) i belong to a family+environment which is much saturated with accountants of all types ),
ONE OF MY KNOWING IS EARNING
more then 2lac per month.
now your turn,
......
....
..
BUT Do u know u what he is? mean to say what is his job,
HE IS JUST A TEACHER. ( cima qualified)

SO is this his desire before doing cima.

i can give u a list , of ACA's ,those have started with 40+ and benefits, and after one year no one of them is earning less the atleast 1 lac.
NOt only ACA's , recently in my neighbours one ACCA get job in multinational company in isb, with 40k, plus a flat in isb, plus 2.OD.(he is only one i am disscussing here since he pass acca in last decmeber attempt)
Let me tell u he has not more then 7.5 months experience which he gain during the study of level 2,anywayz.....
i don't know what u are thinking about CIMA ,yes, though it is realtiy that it is a worldwide recognised and almost TOP ranked, But my friend the 2 factors i disscussed above must be taken into account.
and belive me i can also provide much of information, from accumulating magzine of last 2,3 years of any accountacny body or from some sites.
PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES , THAT MUST BASED ON SOME FATCS.SINCE U ARE A STUDENT OF CIMA U MUST BELIEVE IN THE FACTS WHICH IS THE BASE OF YOUR AND ALMOST OF ALL ACCOUNTANCY BODIES,since here, there is no such kind of electrong revloving,or assumptions are made.
SINCE, WE THE ACCOUNTANTS ARE BELIEVE IN FACTS AND FIGURES AND WE HAVE TO RUN A BUSINESS OR AN ORGANISATION,with not any assumption.
CHEERS........

hey capricorn_me,
thnx 4 ur advice, to b honest i believe in dis saying, prob u hav heard of that....
"there is strength in diversification"
diversification gives u hands on not only 1 but more than 1 qualifications....
and its gud dat they are 2 different things....thus diversifying ma scope.
and to be honest i hav seen ppl who have dun cima alongside CA and they are earnin really gooood!!!
i dunn find a reason y v cant go for more than 1 qualifications at a time.....a large number f ma freinds r doin Acca or cima alongside....and i guess much ppl do the same!!!
r0k!!!
