High CALIBRE HR MANAGEMENT TRAINEES

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is currently the largest and strongest Nationalized Bank of the country with Assets of over Rs. 578 billion and Deposits of over Rs. 463 billion as of 31-12-2005.

To maintain the position of NBP as a dynamic commercial Bank, its pre-eminence and to achieve market recognition both in quality and delivery of services as well as the range of product offerings in accordance with the globally changing environment, NBP Management has decided to strengthen its Human Resources base. In this connection, various HR initiatives have been taken in the Bank, which include induction and career planning of Management Trainees, incentive for high performers, attractive schemes for advancement and growth, challenging assignments, market based compensation, talent management etc. To manage and effectively implement these HR initiatives, strengthen HR practices at grass root levels in Regional Offices all over the country, NBP seeks to hire MBAs/MPAs with specialized in HR from a HEC recognized university or a reputed foreign university.
If you are interested in making a career in NBP and joining the team of HR professionals, please submit the application as per format. The applicants are required to meet the following criteria.

Qualification;-
MBA/MPA (excluding Executive MBA) specialized in Human Resources from University recognized by HEC or a reputed foreign University. The minimum GPA required is 3.0 where ever GPA System is in vogue. Where the grading is on Marks basis the minimum percentage required is 70% Only those applicants who have already passed the final examination will be considered.

Criteria for Selection

Selection will be made on the basis of written test designed and administered on scientific basis (on the pattern of GMAT/GRE).

Venue of test

The test shall be conducted at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Candidates from around these locations will attend the test at the nearest located venues.

Age Limit
Maximum age limit 28 years as on 1-07-2006.

Group Discussions / Final Interview

Those who quality in the written test will be required to appear in the Group Discussions and Final Interview. The selected candidates will undergo extensive training in banking and HR Management.

We offer an initial gross salary package of over 26,000/- per month plus bonuses and other fringe benefits.
Accelerated initial career progression, based on performance, includes promotion as Officer Grade I after first 3 years and then as Assistant Vice President after next 3 years of service.
