Examinations Techniques
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) recently (June and July 2006) conducted a series of seminars for various subjects for Foundation and Intermediate students. Previously such seminars were also conducted for Final level students.
The presentations are available in the form of PDF files for download so that these can be used by the students for future reference. The Adobe Acrobat Reader will be required for viewing these presentations. The Adobe Acrobat reader can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com.
However it must be stressed that going through these presentations can not be deemed to be a substitute to actually attending the seminars. This is because the speaker may add additional information for various slides not specifically mentioned on them. Therefore students are encouraged to attend all such future seminars.
The students are required to take the following into account when going through these presentations
All course material, study techniques and key areas emphasized during the seminar represent the view point of the speaker and not that of the Institute.
The Institute does not prescribe a particular publisher although recommended course material list is available with the syllabus booklet.
Answers and discussions relating to exam questions represent the personal views of the speaker.
