Hello Guys!
I have just started ACCA after registering and getting admission in SKANS Lahore.
I have undergone much problems after making a Bank Draft from Dollareast paying 121 per pound and a fee of 1000 for this service.
They charged higher prices.
Can u tell me some good method to accumulate POUNDS for payment of all ACCA fees as i think t is impossible to have a foreign currency account.
How can banks help its account holder make Britain Pounds Draft ?
WAITING FOR A FAVOURABLE RESPONSE.

I have always used my ammi's credit card. You can use any credit card which have visa, master or cirrus logo. I pay fees directly from the acca's website www.accaglobal.com & then log into your account & pay fees.

This is the most easy way since no currency conversion is needed. Even if your credit card is in rs., the bank will itself make the conversion you just have to write you cc number on the sales page

well. its the interbank rate. these rates are a little bit different from the open market but only a little bit 2% etc.

This difference is so small that I never took notice of paying any extra fees.

u may adopt any of following

1. what u hav done ,i.e by send a draft, which is alwaz costly.
2. By using a credit card, by this no extra money hav to be paid
for postal charges
3. through ur college, which is best if u dont hav credit card, skans
will charge u exact pound figure mentioned on ur invoice/remettince advice( not rupees) + 200-500 postal
charges
