Hello people,
My economics paper is badly stuck, im unable to clear it. This march 2004 was my fourth attempt to it. I have cleared all my other papers and shouldve been in module C last year. I have a friend also doing CA, her first attempt was Sep 2003 and then Mar 2004 for Module B. She has an economics refer too. After she gave the paper she was coming out of ICAP when she saw a good relative of hers who works in ICAP. That guy asked her how were her exams, she said she had an eco refer plus module b. Then that guy asked what were the grades in the other two subjects of module A. She told him both were C grades. Then that guy told him " aray bhey... ab to aap ko B grade lana hoga Economics mein."
shocking!!! He then explain that its an ICAP policy and it is also practiced by ICMA and IBA, etc. The policy is that if you get two C grades, you HAVE TO get a B grade in the third paper or in any of the paper... ie. 2 Cs and 1B can be allowed to clear the whole module.
No wonder I couldnt clear my economics paper earlier 3 times. This is terrible! such a ridiculous policy!!! This is quite dangerous yknow. Can anyone confirm this thing from someplace?! But when I heard this thing, it almost gave me a heart attack.
