Go to the control panel, and check out in "add/remove programs" if there is an uninstall link for it. Maybe its time for you to do a clean reinstall of windows!

And let this be a lesson to u to not just click 'next' each and everytime you install something! Its always better to read what the package is trying to install besides the main program itself.

Salaam, Yaar Install "Spybot Search and Destroy" Spyware program. It will scan ur pc and i hope that it will remove the toolbar. I have many times remove this type of stuff on my pc. Secondly Install a good firewall like Zone Alarm or sygate so that such programs do not easily enter into ur pc and install them without notice. And yes whenever an error or warning is shown by the firewall, carefully read it. It is useless if u grant access of ur pc to outsiders without noticing that what the firewall is saying. Search for the entries in registry (Start>Run>type "Regedit") and find the toolbar name and remove all the items there.

If i can remember... some spyware packages like GAIN and even Gator (at one time) used to give proper uninstallers. Anyways, what i meant was that you should check all installed programs in your program list to see with which program this toolbar was bundled with in the first place so that you don't install the same program once again. As for a good spyware removing program, i've found LavaSoft's Adaware program to be the best, but just make sure that u have the latest spyware definitions installed.
