Hello guys!
while browsing through WIKIPEDIA encyclopedia, I searched for ACCA and came across a great PDF document on this particular website
named "KEY FACTS AND TRENDS IN UK ACCOUNTANCY PROFESSION" released on November 2006
http//www.frc.org.uk/images/uploaded/documents/Key%20Facts%20and%20Trends%20141106%20FINAL.pdf
This document is issued by The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and may help you learn about various foreign qualifications like
ACCA,CIMA,CIPFA,ICAEW,ICAS,ICAI. Although these chartered qualifications are based arround United Kingdom but they are also gaining
worldwide recognition as more and more people are becoming members by passing their exams and getting relevent training.
By the way some of interesting sections were
1-Members in UK and Ireland and their growth.
2-Members Worldwide and their growth.
3-Sectoral Employment of Members arround the world.
4-Gender of Members.
5-Age of members.
6-Worldwide students registered and their age, gender and sectoral employment of students.
7-Passrate of students in ACCA,CIMA,CIPFA,ICAEW,ICAS,ICAI through 2000-2005.

I have highlighted important aspects of this important document because it is now adays becoming a trend to go abroad and seek
professional qualifications like these. One interesting aspect that I observed was that there was exceptional growth in ACCA members
and students. While comparing ICAEW and ACCA, I came to know that ACCA has comparatively lower passrate.

Hey all CA guys out here, the purpose of this post is not to annoy you guyz by advertising foreign qualification but to help those who want
to learn about foreign education and opportunities that lie ahead for these qualified people. And keep in mind that these foreign qualifications
are originally chartered by HER ROYAL MAJESTY so these are much valuable globally than ICAP,s CA.
Once again Download at http//www.frc.org.uk/images/uploaded/documents/Key%20Facts%20and%20Trends%20141106%20FINAL.pdf
