Hey guys,
I've completed my a'levels and will probably be going to Canada in a few months for my undergraduate degree (from McGill Uni). I'm planning on majoring in accounting. Well in future my goal's to become a chartered accountant, so i was thinking why not do it from CICA (Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants), and if in future i want to come to Pakistan for work i can become the ICAP CA by passing two papers (correct me if im wrong).
I wanted to do ICAEW ACA from UK, but my uncle there told me its damn hard to get a training-contract from a decent firm. I have relatives in Canada, and i'll be living with them.
So do you guys think it's a good idea for me to do CA from CICA?
