ICAP Karachi Seeks Manager - Technical Services

The Technical Services Directorate of the Institute is looking for a Chartered Accountant to fill in the vacancy of Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES -
He/She would be responsible for conducting research for members’ queries and working closely with Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee, Technical Advisory Committee, and Banking Committee etc. of the Institute. The work would involve
1. Preparation and circulation of Agenda
2. Preparation of Minutes of the meeting
3. Follow up actions as per decisions of the Committees
4. Preparation of proposals and any other matter relevant to the Committees’ scope of work
5. Examining drafts of standards and regulations issued by IASB, IFAC and local regulators.
6. Research for new technical issues and pronouncements.
