Examiner comments-a fraud

Of course i will....

1. There is no differense btw a person who qulaifies with 70% or 55% marks.

2. Max number of papers attempted at one time could be 4 papers.... so the max limit is 4 papers.....

3. The system of refers in ACCA starts and ends in the core ie last 3 papers.
The systemm is as follows..... below 30% fail, 30%-50% refer, above 50% pass.

This is a explanation of the Systen Of the Core Papers

Part 3 - Core Papers (3.5, 3.6 & 3.7)
All three papers in this Core Module must be sat and passed at the same session subject only to a referral being granted if a mark between 30% and 49% is achieved in one paper and passes are achieved in the other two papers in the module. The referred paper must be passed within the next two consecutive examination sessions, otherwise all three papers in the Core Module must be re-attempted. Absence from the examination will count as one of the two available sittings.

If you sit a referred paper at the sitting immediately following referral but do not achieve a pass, you may still enter for the paper at the next sitting regardless of the degree of failure. However, if the referred paper is not passed within these two sittings then all three papers of the Core Module must be re-attempted and the appropriate fee paid. The fee to sit a referred paper is the same as the individual examination entry fee for each of papers 3.5, 3.6 & 3.7.

When less than three papers are sat as a result of exemptions or previous syllabus conversion passes being held, a pass will be gained only if all outstanding papers in the Core Module are passed at the same session.

Where you have been unsuccessful in passing all outstanding papers in the Core Module and do not fall into the referred category above, 'module fail' is shown against each paper irrespective of whether or not a satisfactory standard (i.e. a mark of greater than or equal to 50) has been achieved in one or more of these papers.

4. yes we can move forward to the next module without clearing the st one but subject to the point that We shall only attempt papers in the correct sequence.... Like u suppose the sequence of ther papers is as follows 2.5 2.6 3.1 3.2 So u can atempt Level 3 without clearing level 2 but subject that u also attempt the remaining papers of level to in the same attempt of level 3...... The only other option u have is to pay the paper fees of level remaining papers and not attempt them............

How can u say that there will be no difference between persons with 70% and 50%...
Are these percentages not reflecting the level of knowledge...and difference of knowledge between the two...

Of course in that sense there is alot of differense but once u r qualified no ones asks u abt the marks obtained .... Ur qualification speaks for itself and likewise no once requires the marks obntained once u r qualified.............

consider a case...If me and u both are ACCA qualified...I got 70% in all papers and u got 55%...
we re the only candidates for a particular job...
employer will prefer u or me...
suppose one more thing that our interviews got equal points...

thats a very rare case with each of us gaining equal marks in the Interview ... I think they will not make an enquiry into our marks and it also depends upon there Recruitment Policy...

And definetely they wil Prefer ME<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>........

Actually till now many ppl were unaware of ACCA, but recently the awareness of ACCA among employers has inresed and now some good vacancies are vacant for ACCA and as well as CA but still now the Monoply of ICAP reigns supreme and empoyers still prefer ACA. No matter whats the reason thas the scenario in Pakistani Job Market...

When asking for a respectable job a ACCA gets... As i say it all depends upon the persons personalty, Chances of devolepment, exposure, expereince and knowledge, these all elements together determine the best possible Candidate to fill in the vacancy....
