Somebody please drop Hafeez. Although i hate to say it, but this guy is producing quite the same results as Afridi. Atleast afridi didnt waste this many balls before getting out and if he stayed at the wicket, then he scored heavily and demoralised the opposition. This guy wastes a lot of balls, and then loses his wicket meekly. By the way... Afridi was a better bowler than this guy. If they dont want to bring back afridi, then they should bring back Imran Nazir. He seems to be the most exciting talent in the country lately and he plays a lot like Saeed Anwar when he was young, ie brash and exciting.
Yasir Hameed seems to be a good batsman. In bowling, they should bring Saqlain and Mushtaq Ahmed for the tests along with Sami and Akhtar.

In my view too Hafiz is creating a mess. Why in two macthes Faisal Iqbal was given chances, is the question bothers me most. Naveed Latif with 48 AVERAGE was given only a single chance and he had to perform well in his 4th match under pressure situation. It is not a fair chance in my view.Mr. Butt seems to be a good opener given one chance against Bangladesh. I aloso liked the suggestion Abdur-Razaq being tried as opener.
How ever I still disagree with you about Saqlain. He has faild to perform for Pakistan since quite long.
For test match I don't think Pakistani team can get out any of the SA batsman. It was proved in the last One day match that if South Africans are not under pressure to maintain a healthy runrate then it is really difficult to get any one of them out.
It is obvious from our test performance against Banglas.

This is exactly why i am suggesting that Saqlain alongwith Mushtaq should be brought in. SA do seem to have problems with quality spin, and i believe that Saqlain still has some years of cricket left in him. A bad patch comes on every player in his career. Does anybody remember the way how out of form Inzimam was only a month back and now he is again the mainstay of our batting. Saqlain too will eventually come out of his bad patch.
I dont like the idea of Razzaq opening the batting. I know that he would do much better than hafeez, but then that would be only a adhoc solution to a much deeper problem. Razzaq's place is in the late-middle order and thats where he should stay. They should go with Taufeeq Umar in the tests and Imran Nazeer in the ODIs.

Let us talk about future needs of Pakistani bowling lineup. In my view we are in great need of a new strike bowler. Because Shoaib Akhtar is surely going to loose his speed in 2 to 3 years. And he is not as wise as Wasim Akram who despite losing his speed still continued to be the main strike bowler for Pakistan through his craftsmanship.
I see great future for Muhammad Sammi, he seems to be a calm person and concentrating on his performance and not on ANGER, which shows that he has a wise head over his shoulders. Umer Gul has also good prospect for future Pakistani bowling lineup. He just needs to develop his physique. He will also go as a strike bowler but his bad temper may cause him some damage.

I want to discuss commentary as well. I am great fan of all the commentators. Some of the great commentators are Ramiz Raja, Sanjay Manjrayker, Jaffrey and many others, in my view Sunil Gawaskar, is best of all with his unbiased comments on cricket.
Umer Qureshi has his standing among the bests.
But the most interesting commentary is broadcasted from radio. Though it is, since quite long, I last heard commentary on radio. But I still remember the complete picture drawn by these wonderful commentators.
Just listen to them, (in pleasant memory)
Imran khan aaye empire kay pass say guzray, gaind karwai, or yeh sunil bold ho gaye.
Do you know why I praise so much these commentators?
I praise them because I have learned so much from these commentators.
My English though not is a quality English, but I feel that it is presentable due to these commentators. I never learned English properly till my graduation. But I learned English from cricket commentary. My English suddenly improves in cricket season. I start to speak English fluently in cricket season. My listening skill is excellent, credit goes to commentary. I am not praising myself but my listening skill was proven during a spoken English course. Some times I got the message even, better than the teacher.

Yeah... i too feel that Mr. Bollywood isnt going to last long. Till that time lets enjoy what he can offer. Waisey i was able to see him bowl a little bit today. The bowl with which he downed Gary kirsten was only ugly, mean ball...hehehe (i kind of enjoyed it in an evil way!!<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>)
Sami is a great talent and if he stays injury-free will become one of world's leading fast bowlers. Gul is a good economic bowler, but thats what he should concentrate on. I cant see him becoming a potent strike bowler in the mould of akhtar or sami.
What we need at this time is one more strike bowler who along with these two fast bowlers and with kaneria and shoaib malik will form the pakistani bowling mainstay for the next 5-6 years.
On the topic of commentators, my favorites are Ian Chappell and Omar Qureshi. Its too bad that Omar Qureshi had to stop commentating because of advancing age. Yaar, i dont think that Gavaskar is unbiased. Sure, he did back us in the '92 WC, but have u seen him lately? Terrible, i must say... he has totally lost his objectivity as a commentator.
On the other hand, Ian chappell rises above his nationalistic feelings to give comments and has the calmest head among all contemporary commentators. Waisey, Ian Chappell alongwith that buffoon Tony Greig, do form a wonderfully exciting commentary team. I mean, the calm logic of Chappell alongwith the over-the-top and totally mindless babble of Greig is a very enjoyable combination for me.
I also admire Geoffery Boycott for his cruelly in-the-face, honest but at the same time, bloody funny comments.

My dear brov guybrush why you always write against Islam. I let you know the meaning of fate; assume you are going to sit in Math paper. Your Math course have got 100 questions and you know the answers of 88 only (which mean you have done 88% of your math course) which is quite good. Now you are in exam room 10 questions comes form your course and 8 of them comes from 12 questions which you left during your course. Bad fate you canât pass in the math paper even you have finished your 88% course. On the other hand I just know 12 math's answer (mean I covered 12% of my course) but in paper 8 question comes from those 12% material. Which mean Iâll get 80% marks âGOOD FATE my dear MATE'.
