@ vital

Thanx for the compliment.

Bro, u again left me in confusion, u didnt choose any specific qualification.
You can choose one or may be two, which according to you I should pursue. I will take all the options into consideration which i receive from different members and than I am going to do some research by myself which I expect is going to give me a much better position than where I am now, to decide which one should I go for.

I really dun buy ur statement that OBU degrees are of almost no use to CA qualified person, OBU awards Graduation nd Masters degrees, I saw somewhere while surfing the net that OBU (Oxford Brookes University) managed to get 57th rank in the top universities of the world, which is a very good position according to me atleast, nevertheless you have a masters degree aside from your CA certificate.
Its of equal importance even to CAian.
U can sell your thinking.
Thanks.

I misunderstood the last line of your comment.

Please completely ignore the following part of my last comment,

Fareed

I cannot specify any specific qualification that you should pursue. It’s all up to you.
It is good that you should make your decision yourself and for making decision you should collect data from reliable sources and analyze them before finalizing your future course of action.
And this is what you are doing. You yourself said that you will take into consideration all possible options and then you will decide.

CFA and CA are totally different fields. Both earn high salaries in Pakistan. So it is all up to you to choose one of them.

CA of ICAP, ICAEW, CICA or ICAA
Its again all up to you to decide where you want to work. Now don’t ask me where you should work.

OBU is of no importance/value to CAs, at least to me.

i agree wtih Vital. CAs dont need the OBU bsc. waisay bhi its a crap university and waisay bhi yeh complex acca walon ko hi hota hai about getting as many qualifications as they can. A qualified CA has great prospects so why would he need this OBU Bsc. they hardly for masters or something since they already earn so much

Others might disagree

fareed get your facts right buddy. its 57th in the UK which is not that encouraging. in fact it is not a very good ranking. Moreover, if you check the ranking of OBU for accounting discipline, you will find that the situation is even worse.
