Kyun aisey sawaal pooch kar dil dukhaatey ho yaar? Bas smajah lo that the peon in our firm seemed like Bill Gates to us.

And besides, as Nauman puts it, it would be unethical for us to comment negatively about firms in a general discussion forum, so i better shut my trap from uttering any more unethical stuff!

Bahi GuyBrush

I think its not so un-ethical

Most probably u had read my recent comments in Khalid Majeed... discussion topic.

The new range of stipends as announced by ICAP is Rs. 2,500 to Rs 5,000.

Summary is as follows

Junior Rs. 2,500
After passing Module - E Rs. 4,000
After passing Module - F Rs. 5,000

But these stipends should be in a range of MINIMUM Rs. 5,000 to 10,000.

Salamz All, Guys thak you very much for ur replies. Actually I live in hyderabad, pakistan, currently am doing BBA and planning to do CA after that but U see main problem with me is the fact that my parents r not rich and they can't support me, going to karachi live there for 6 yrs (completely depending on them) therefore I asked about the amount trainees are paid. But its disgusting especially 4 people like me. What do U think?

Bahi dont get frustrated. Karchi is not a very expensive city. U can also join a firm after graduation and then complete your 5 years of articles with the firm and appear in the CA Exams.

Also u know that one has to sacrifice for a good future.

CA is not much expensive as other fields now-a-days like IT or MBA etc.

Further if u directly join the firm after graduation, the u will not pay for CA Foundation coaching classes.

U can join the firm and start studying yourself with help and support of your seniors in the firm. Also u will be earning Stipend... though very little....

But InshAllah after 2-3 years u will be in a good position.

Decide for your future yourself but your decision of joning any profession should be after considering its all merits and de-merits and its future prospects.

After BBA u have most probable options of MBA / ICMA / CA. And i think CA will be the best if there is no liability on u to support your family in next 4-5 years.

if u are thinking that you will come to karachi, and will be able to manage within your stipend, then u will be on mistake, yar, the ca firms are going to pay you accoriding to rates specified by ICAP, and min. is i think 1750/- on grad. basis.
