I personally don't know enough about Dr. Aamir Liaquat, but I like him for his courageous statement about the child abuses in some so called islamic seminaries. I wish all our Ullema think realistically and come out of the state of denial. I am saying all that just to convey that i am not against him and like good things in him. Certainly none of us is perfect.
But still the act of using fake degrees is quite abohorrable, if he has. No person is above law even if he or she is a Scholar or something like that. Certainly AvgJoe's arguements carry the wait when he says that we don't expect such dishonesty from people who are either members of parliament or considered as religious scholars.
However it's a pelasure to read both the distinguished members AvgJoe and smraza, because both of them are arguing on the basis of logic and reason. But the way this person zubair-acca-acma is attacking the members personally is shocking. His way of writting clearly suggest that he is totally ignorant of the manners of a conversation. Anyone who has seen his posts can feel clear aggression in all of his posts. We can only feel sorry for him. I am sure that other members will keep arguing in a reasonable way and will totally ignore his rediculous behaviour.[)]

Reply Mr. SMarza, Maulana Modoodi OR Molana Yousuf Ludhiyanvi did not have any degree to become islamic scholor, because it is really not a criteria to have a degree to become a great scholor or scientist and there are many such examples, very much true.

However,
Had Maulana Modoodi OR Yousuf Ludhiyanvi bought a fake degree to bost themselves as Great Islamic Scholors then 1. They were regarded as people with fraud and fake minds/nature. However they never did so i mean they never did fake things in their lives as like Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

2. If it is proved that Amir Liaquat has bought such fake degrees to get himself regarded as a doctor/scholor of islam then according to your definition, if he was really experienced he never needed to do all such cheap and indecent things to fool people with fraud. Therefore, it also reveals his approach which is in contradiction to the criteria set by you Mr. SMarza.

3. His Islamic experience All his programs are based on the problems related to Tareeqat (Methodology) which is a branch of islamic studies. The actual problems faced by islamic ummah are not critical to Methodology (How to do How to offer Prayers, How much pay zakat etc)...rather religious differences among muslims are based on Islamic Beliefs/Concepts on the basis of Islamic History/Personalities.

without going into depths, Mr Amir Liaquat Hussain program is not Islam and not enough to regard him as Islamic Scholor and his tv programs never discuss the real issues faced by islamic ummah instead they are merely/mostly about tareekat. like "aap k masaayil aur un ka hal"

Essence of my writing and this post is that Amir Liquat is not a Islamic Scholor, he is just a practiced debator and completely a fraud person.

I'm quite shocked to read about the fake degrees of Dr.Amir Liaqat.I'm not sure what to say!!!
But if he has done so,then its truly a shameful deed.No one can be above law and justice should be done in this regard if it is true!

The matter of his degrees has been well discussed publicly and he never came up with any prrof to the contrary.

A person who openly discusses the very personal issues of others like disputes on Shoaib Malik's divorce with Ayesha Siddiqui or electrification on Minister Khursheed Shah's son just to make his program hot, should have a courage to speak publicly when his genuineness is in question.

When you find courage to uncover others, you should have a courage to prove what you are, specially when people raise fingers on you. We learnt this from the practice of the most elevated persons in the history of Islam like Hazrat Umar Bin Khattaab, who did clarify from where he got his two pieces of cloth when some one raised such a question.

Unfortunately Aamir Liaqat does not have such a courage and has practiced a pegion's character on this matter. I wonder if he has any knowledge of Islam in essense.

Dear yeh baat tu bohat purani Aur maushoor bhi hay jiss per aap itnaa hairaan ho Shayad aap pakistan main nahi hogay uss waqt yaa Shayad umer main bohat chotay hogay. Mr.Amir ki Yeh baat yun bhi xiada famous hogai thi k uss zamanay main Jaali degree walay itnay pakray nahi gai thay, Haan magar aaj ka zamaana hota tu log itna surprised nahi hotay, Kyun k abb jaali degree rakhna iss Daur main buri baat nahi Yeh tu Abb aksar log karay hain.

Lakin Abb Amir Liakat nay Apnay naam k saath Dr. lagana chor dia hay, Behr-haal ghalat tha agar uss nay esa kia, Lakin ghaltian ho jati hain. Main uss ko Sirf as a host consider karta hun irrespective of fact that What Academics he is having.

Being fake has become a fashion of the day at our beloved country. A number of our Ulemas specially the ones sitting in National Assembly and Senate also have fake Madrissa or other qualifications / certifications.

However, the one who claims to be a religious scholar (not only a Maulvi) and a 'doctorate-holder" is very very rarely seen to be fake like this.

Amir Liaqat is a hot debator although at number of times he only uses the sentiments of audience by hitting at the emotional aspects of a particular environment. I am saying this because I have seen some of his real debates.

So treating him as anchor or debator is fine but it is also a fact that allowing (by media) a fake and liar to pretend as a scholar and noble heart is in fact misleading for the masses. The masses who even after getting proof of one's falsified character again vote for him.
