There are no firms in Pakistan that are ICAEW 'accredited training accountancy firms'.

In UAE

1-PWC
2-GRANT THORNTON
3-SAJJAD HAIDER & CO.

The total number of students in above firms at the end of 2004 was 9. And these firms mostly prefer locals (except Sajjad Haider & Co. which may take you on coz of its Pak origin.)

there are two firms in Bahrain also. (authorized to train ICAEW students)

1-Ernst & Young International
2-Deloitte

And total number of ICAEW registered students in Bahraini firms was 2.

So its going to be tough, but not impossible, to get into one of them.

Regards,

Feel free to contact if you need more info.
