Dear Seniors,

I have taken the exam of Modual A last year but can not attampt it, now i want to take exam in 2007. You know that ICAP has revise the syllabus. So kindly let me know that will prepare with new syllabus or old. Kindly let me know as soon as possible so that i can prepare myself as per concerned syllabus.

By saying changes in syllabus you are refering to recent changes in Module A's syllabus i.e moving Economics to Module B. These changes are surely applicable from Spring 2007 attempt. The current attemp Autumn 2006 will be on the basis of previous patteren i.e Economics will be there in Module A.

So, Qadri in this attempt you have two appear in all three papers and in the next attempt I think you will have the choice whether to take two papers as per new syllabus or follow the old syllabus taking all three.

You must confirm all this be calling ICAP Karachi at 021-111-000-422

itz not da case only
syllabus of almost all the subjects of foundation & inter has been changed and wud be aplicable from spring 2007 attepmt

for the updated syllabus just go to icap' website

yaar icap kee website bhe kabhee kahee visit ker lia karo woh bhee aik achee website hai[D]

howver the most interesting part of change i found was in FA2 syllabus

The IFRS included in Syllabus are
IAS – 1 IAS – 2 IAS – 7 IAS – 8 IAS – 10 IAS – 12 IAS – 16 IAS – 17 IAS – 18 IAS – 23 IAS – 24 IAS – 36 IAS – 37 IAS – 38

+++All items included in the syllabus of Introduction to Financial Accounting paper of Module B may again be tested in the above paper.[8D]

I checked the syllabus there is change that economics is transfar into Module B and in Module A a little changes.
