We can share our views about the upcoming cricket series between Pakistan & India.

After a lapse of 15 years the Indian team is visiting again, lets hope the series remain safe and sound yet action packed, in a warmup match yesterday Pakistan-A team under the captaincy of Taufeeq Umar defeated the Indian team who were playing to their full strength by 6 wickets. India batted first and made 335 runs, in reply Pakistan-A chased the required total in 48 overs. At one point their run rate was over 12.

Lets hope that the Pakistani team performs well during the series

Only 12??

At one time it was close to 15!!!

Somebody please bring back Imran Nazir.... this guy is just too good to be sitting out. Reminds me of a young Saeed Anwar, ie. brash and supremely talented. All he needs to do is to control his natural aggression and improve his selection of shots. He could be a real star.

pakistan lost by just 5 runs. To me it was a victory for paksitan which was going against the history to chase 350 runs managed 344 in the end. it was a grat paki performance especially inzimam, youhana, razzaq, and younis khan.
pakistan has shown that they can chase and can chase well so indians be aware paki is back and they are now good chasers so mind u whatever u score will be chased by pakistan.

Good luck to pakistan for Second ODI at peshawer.

I think it was one of the greatest game in the cricket history, since all-time world record 693 runs were made in a single ODI, thankfully, the behaviour ffrom the crowds were just outstanding - even though the home side couldn't quite get the required target of 350.

I totally agree that Inzi made a superb century, which attined him the man of the match award, but I also think the groundsmen, who made such a batting pitch should also be given some incentive.

In the whole match I just couldn't see the 'Miandad's Special Plan'for Indians. Also, I think before the match, it was inevitable that it's going to be a strong match b/w Pak's Bowlers and Indian batting, whereas, it happened totally opposite.

Finally, if Pakistan is hoping to Win the Series, which they should do, they will have to correct their bolwing. What the pity it was that we had to bowl 'unnecessary' 5 overs and gave the 'crucial' 30 extra runs!!

Yup i am happy that India won. Just see the exceptional hitting of sehwag. AAHHHH great match exceptional. I will give credit to inzamam and later on to razzaq to bring alive the match but also to Zaheer Khan who delivered a majestic ball to get rid of Razzaq. Awesome match

Lol... great match.

Both the teams tried to outdo each other in bowling as pathetic as possible, although i felt that paki team had a clear edge from indians in that dept.

although i donot take much interest in cricket but indo pak match really attracts me, so i would like to add the condition of ganguly even they had won the match, but the Ganguly must be afraid of Pakistan that they gave a target of 350 runs, and that is considered a very hard target especially for a team who has its 2 batsman out at the stage of 32, but Pakistan was still able to chase the target, now Ganguly will have to improve its bowling side if he wants that India should win the next match.

Although, it was a great match but i am sad bcz pakistan couldn't win as pak was very near to the victory.the last ball of the match was full of tension and my heart is jumping to mouth. Aahhhh!!!.... moin khan did not able to hit it for a six. but don't mind it.
In the last i think that pakistan should make bowling pitches as our strength is bowling and we should avail advantage of home pitches as New Zealand did in india's tour to NZ.

The Second ODI

Shahid Afridi came back with a very strong performance, enabling pakistan to set up a formidable total of 329.

but the indian team put un a strong chase, with sachin tendulkar being the star of the day. In the end Pakistan won.

Now the series is level, we can expect drama in the next threee games.

Lets pray for a Pakistan Victory

i really don't like such batting pitches where 300 r backed by 300 also. i think that there should some oppsrtunities for the bowlers also. After all, they r also playing..........

Yup the wicket in peshawar is a batting one but it will support the bowlers early on too. Just pray that India wins .
