Answers to your querries
1. perhaps a member based in Karachi can help you more on this, but in my experience in Lahore and Dubai.. firms would prefer ACCA - certificate stage

2.I'd say 3-4 years. A lot of students in Pakistan are able to do it in first attempts.. which is three years.

3. By 'worth' you must have meant in monetary terms.. if that is the case.. the answer is no.. you will have monetary worth only after having passed all your ACCA papers.

1. Ford Rhodes takes up students who have cleared upto part 2 although previously they were taking in people who had cleared upto 2.3. I think the same is the case with Taseer. Ferguson on the other hand only takes students who have attempted core and are waiting for the result.
2. The minimum time for completing acca is 2 years (not 3 pracs!). An average student should be able to complete it in 3 years or even less if he takes the initiative of taking up more papers each attempt. Most of my friends regretted taking up fewer papers in the previous attempt.
3. To my knowledge the best value of acca part one cleared is at PSO which pays a stipend of Rs 5000 if you have cleared part 1. The stipend increases by Rs 500 for each paper cleared. Moreover you get half your exam fee refunded if you clear a paper in the first attempt.

Somebody stop me!

Shahzeb I stand corrected,.. yes the minimum period is years . 6 months each for Foundation, Certificate, Professional 1 & 2.

I didn't know PSO had such a good plan in place for ACCA students.
