Any one here who can differentiate btw Federal Excise Duty, Special Excise Duty, central Excise Duty & Regulatory Duty. Also where they are applicable.

Importers are charged 1% RD on import stage. Can they adjust that in their Sales Tax Return. Or they have to file the return without this 1 % RD

central excise duty is replaced by FED, SED IS special excise duty charged by manufacturers, 1 % RD IS CHARGED AT IMPORT STAGE AND IS NOT ADJUSTABLE TO IMPORTER, WHILE IMPORTER-CUM-MANUFACTURER CAN ADJUST AGAINST SED CHARGED ON SALE
