IDP tax Internally Dispplaced person tax imposed by govt for tax year 2009 on those salaried and buisness indiivdual whose income excedds 1 m in a tax year 2009

So in ur case no idp tax payment is not required bcz salary is less than 1 m .

Anyways IDP tax is basically a tax on tax and rates is 5 % of tax payble means if ur salary income is more than rs 1 m and suppose tax liability is around 80000 rs than u have to pay idp tax on 80000 @ % 5%
