Just curious.... I remember somebody telling me that he is but he thanked Allah after he was declared man of the match for the Test match against Sri Lanka. If anybody knows then please share

A lot of non muslim Pakistais refer to God as ''Allah'', which I dont't think is wrong in anyway and should actually be encouraged.

Even in places like Dubai; Hindus/Christians , who have been here even a couple of years go for the ''asalam u aliakum'' and ''Inshallah'' thing.

A minor correction Mr.Whappa

The name is NOT Danish ( Dansihmand or the Viking Dane ) )

rather Dinesh , a hindu deity of Mahabharata .

Why then he is known as Danish instead of Dinesh .

Caus ppl would have poked their noses " yaar kia tum hindu ho ? "

i personally know a fellow whose name is Emmanuel Haq ( a seventh day adventist ), but he is known ,and even willfully he introduces himself as Imanul Haq .

The reason is as said above . to save hemself from darn questionnaires you ppl would have asked .

I tell u what guys , instead of being inquisitive about others , we ought to think what kind of muslims we really are ,we are s'posed to be professionals ) best in our professions ...ahem.........

so much we toiled to reach at here .

HOW MANY OF US KNOW WAHT IS HAQQOQ ALLAH AND WHAT IS HAQOOQUL IBAD ?
AND HOW TO PRAY FOR NAMAZE JANAZA .? ? ?

I am not a preacher but
yessssssssss., this IS relevant to this thread .

Although he is big combination of SHANE WARNE and ANIL KUMBLE.
yaar SMR read the topic to be very carefully,we were asked "is dinesh kaneria hindu or muslim" the simple is that he is "HINDU". i dont know why u r raising some more paste in this topic.

Exactly, I have nothing against Hindus. I was just curious. Sheesh... People are so sensitive sometimes.

Dont know Faraz... but i would certainly mind if i learn that people are talking about my religion instead of my professional abilities on a public board.

I aint being oversensitive, its just that we should be aware that we dont indulge in anybody's private affairs. I dont mind if we talk about his cricketing abilities on the board.

All i say is just we should know where to draw a line between somebody's public and private affairs. Btw, this is exactly why papparazi are rightfully treated like scum of the earth. They just snoop into everybody's personal affairs and make money out of it.

Okay, maybe I went about it the wrong way. But it just struck me as odd that a Hindu guy has to portray himself as a Muslim and thank Allah infront of the public and the media. I mean, are we such a prejudiced society that we can't accept people for who they are. That's why I was confused and made that post. Didn't mean to offend anybody.....
