my friend is in icmap stage 1 but he does not want to continue it because he got it tough what he will do he want to start other accounting course which course of accounting will you preffer it plz tell that

he has done B.A

If he is feeling ACMA stage 1 difficult then he should choose some venue apart from accountancy...Bcoz all the accountancy qualifications consists of almost the same "accounting syllabus".........

Accoutant1 is wrong coz if ur friend is graduate, he can start acca directly without CAT.
Your friend can also do CIMA but if its difficult for him, then CIMA will be too. UK qualifications doen't means that they are easy or something like. You have to study but they dont fail students on basis of market requirements.

I think, Mani is right. Your friend should do MBA instead.

well i think if hes interested in software development n networking then he must go 4 certifications like CCNA, MCSE etc.

i also gave him that advice to do MBA instead of accounting but he had rejected my suggestion he wants to do any accounting qualification so plz guide him he is in multan he says that coaching of icmap is not good there syllabus is lenghthy (he told me that they mix accounting with taxation is it true)

Farhan, it seems that u too aren't studying accounting, is it?
Syllabus of accounting will be lengthy whether he continues with ICMAP, ACCA or CA...and will almost be the same, there might be slight differences,
mixing taxation and accounting, i am not sure but have a hint that they have combined the two subjects in stage I...yup this is the drawback, as students with "non B.com background" will find it difficult to study subjects like Taxation at very inital stage...
If there are no financial problems with him then he can try ACCA, there initial papers are comparatively easier, but afterwards he will find the same difficulty level as he is facing now...

most of students waste their time and their parents money on such a qualification

most of the students left this in their ist stage like my friend

so i think accounting qualification is done when you have a master degree

so that you have a option
