salam.
i've a question for the members of the forum
now a days, leasing companies are leasing the assets on a Floating Rate of Interest, say KIBOR, how can we , as a lessee, record an asset in our books? like we have to record it at FV or PV of MLP. we will definitely have the FV but how will we determine the PV of MLP when we don't have the F.C to be included in the Lease Rental which includes Repayment of Principal & F.C.......

suppose we, the lessee, leased an asset from Co. A
Cash Price of asset is 100 m
Useful life is 5 years
Lease Term is 4 years
FV is 100m
Repayment of Principal is 25 in arrears
& lastly, Interest Rate will be KIBOR at the end of the Financial Period.
anyone eloborate plz
