if u ever want to work in a public practice then go for 3.1 (Audit & Assurance) and 3.2 (Adv Taxation).i know many people dont like Taxation for some reason but i tell you my friend Accounting is simply INCOMPLETE without taxation. Atleast basic awareness with taxation is a MUST for all accountants.....rest is your choice.

regards

Dont u think that as far the basic knowledge of taxation is concerned it has already been Covered in 2.3 Business Taxation.....

But i dont know seemingly i think i have a sort of personal grudge against taxation, it is the subject which i mainly disliked even in Part 2 ie previous sitting. But hopefully will pass it.....

plz also tell that which optional paper from 3.1, 3.3, 3.4 should i attempt in june 2005 sitting...... As the other optional Paer will be attempted in the Dec 2005 sitting alongside Core Papers.... Thanks....

One of the reason beeing that i had no plans to work in Pakistan at that time. And Secondly that was the 1st attempt of 2.3 Pk Variant.... For a half of the semester even the books were not available and The major reason beeing that No College in Multan was offering this variant except Beacon House Beasonass School --- They were also studying there 1st batch and only 1 student was studying it.....

Likewise i thought not to take a chance and attempted 2.3 UK Variant.....

Thanks.......
