It is a non-profit organization wholly committed to accounting education and development. The name of the institution at inception was 'The Association of Accounting Technicians of Pakistan' (AAT). In August 2000, the present name was adopted.PIPFA's members are known as Associate Public Accountant - APA and Fellow Public Accountant - FPA. The current membership exceeds 2,700 and covers professionals working in industry, trade and services in both public and private sectors. The number of Registered students in the Corporate Sector stream is aboutr 10,000. Public Sector stream of education is to start in near future.The head office of the institute is situtated at Karachi. There are branch offices at Lahore and Fasialabad. MISSION Identification, development and delivery of Knowledge and to provide a structure for the training of accounting professionals in the specialist areas.AFFILIATION & CONNECTION PPIPFA is the associate member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the world organization for the accounting profession.The two other accounting bodies having membership of IFAC from Pakistan are ICAP and ICMAP. IFAC's mission is to develop and enhance the profession to enable it to provide services of consistently high quality in the public interest. Its current membership consists of 155 professional accounting bodies in 119 countries representing more than 2.4 million accountants in practice, education and service. PIPFA also has links with other professional accounting forums. The three sponsoring bodies - Institute of Chartered Accountants, Institute of Cost & Management Accountants
and Department of Auditor General of Pakistan have stakes in running the affairs of PIPFA through combined representation of 75% on the Board of Governors. BOARD OF GOVERNORS The affairs of the Institute are managed by 12-member Board of Governors comprising nine members nominated by the three sponsoring bodies and three members elected by the members of PIPFA in the general body meeting every three years. The nominees of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan nominate are their council members. The nominees of Department of Auditor General of Pakistan are Officers of Director General or higher level.

PIPFA members in major cities elect Branch Committee for arranging seminars, work shops and meetings for advancement of accounting professiuon in general and professional development of PIPFA members and students in particular. Branch Committees comprise of six members, who elect from among themselves a Chariman and a Secretary. The Committee functions under the PIPFA Bye-laws. At present Branch Committees are functioning in six cities- Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Faisalabad. More committees are likely to be established in other cities in near future.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION The minimum qualification required for entry into the education program is Intermediate from a recognized education board or equivalent foreign qualification acceptable to PIPFA. Students having higher education - graduation, master degree or partly qualified from ICAP, ICMAP or ACCA, UK etc. are encouraged to join the education program and they form the majority in the students' strength.
REGISTRATION Students intending to joining PIPFA's education program have to submit admission application on prescribed Registration Form along with necessary documents and fees. Details of Registration Requirements. Registration can made any time during the year but generally students get registered during December-January and June-July corresponding with begining of coahcing classes for Summer and Winter Examinatios respectively. Students Handbook The Students Handbook containing all necessary details like Registration, Exemption, Examiantion, Syllabus etc. are available with PIPFA Offices and Contact Offices at a price of Rs. 50. The Handbook can also be obtained through courier or mail from PIPFA Head Office at Karachi at a price of Rs.80 payable through Demand Draft or Pay Order drawn on any bank branch at Karachi. EXEMPTION FOR SOME QUALIFICATIONS
Exemptions are available on qualifying any part or paper from ICAP, ICMAP or ACCA, UK. Exemptions are also available on qualifications of MBA, M.Com, B.Com, BBA, MA (Economics), CAT, LLB, Diploma or Graduation in IT, Graduation/Master Degree with study of relevant subjects, qualifications from Corporate/Chartered Secretaries and Taxation Management institutes and other relevant qualifications.

Exemptions are available upon full qualification except in case of ICAP/ICMAP/ACCA where part qualification or pass in any paper is considered.The exemptions specified above particularly for MBA, M. Com and B. Com/BBA are the maximum available dependent on adequate coverage of PIPFA's syllabus and qualification acquired from recognized institution. There is no prospect of considering exemptions beyond the maximum available hence no claim should be filed in this respect.EXEMPTION CLAIM Students desiring to avail exemptions should file their exemption claim on the prescribed Exemption Form or its copy along with the fees and attested copies of Degree/Certificate and Transcript/Mark Sheet of the qualification on the basis of which exemption is sought.The claim for exemption should be filed immediately on registration but notlater than February 15 for those appearing in Summer Examination and by August 15 in case of Winter Examination.Exemptions are optional. Those who do not want to avail exemption can do so without any formality.Exemptions are allowed according to the policy enforce at the time of grant of exemption for which PIPFA issues Exemption Certificates as evidence of acceptance of exemption claim.PRE-EVALUATION OF EXEMPTION Candidates can have pre-evaluation of their eligibility for exemption before actual enrollment or registration with PIPFA. For the purpose they should send transcripts/marks-sheets of their qualififications to PIPFA Head Office. They should also submit details of course contents where the course coverage is not very explicit from the transcripts/marks-sheets. Pre-evaluation is suggested particularly in the cases of MBA/ M. Com qualified persons.
COACHING ARRANGEMENT Before attempting any examination of PIPFA, it is obligatory for a candidate to attend at least once the coaching classes in the relevant subjects at PIPFA Supervised or Approved coaching centers. The coaching arrangement helps students prepare better for the examination and also impart knowledge useful for the practical life. The coaching classes are conducted usually from January to April for Summer Examination in May/June and from July to October for Winter Examination in November/December. The relaxation from attending coaching classes can be considered in the exceptional case when student is living at a place where arrangement for approved classes are not available and application for the relaxation is submitted at the begining of the session. Such students are supposed to maintain correspondance address of the same place as they are actually living.There is no correspondence course available.
COACHING FACILITIES Coaching facilities are at present available at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad/ Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Sialkot Rahim Yar Khan, Bhawalpur and Hyderabad. The faculty comprises of well-qualified teachers having practical knowledge of the field. The classes are conducted under PIPFA's own supervision (at Karachi and Lahore presently) as well as through Approved Educational Institutes.PIPFA SUPERVISED COACHNG CENTERS PIPFA supervised classes at Karachi are conducted in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan's Head Office Building at Chartered Accountants Avenue, Near Teen Talwar at Clifton. The supervised classes at Lahore are held at PIPFA's Lahore Office premises at 42-Civic Center, Barkat Market New Garden Town.
The class timings are 5-30 pm to 8-30 pm. The scale of fee chargeable for coaching is separately given. The students who had previously attended the compulsory classes but rejoin PIPFA Supervised Centers for re-fresher studies in any paper is granted 50% concession in coaching fees. Concession of 25% in coaching fees is also allowed to real brothers/sisters attending the coaching classes in the same session. In deserving cases coaching fees are allowed for payment in 2-3 installments. There is no other concession or relaxation in the fees.PIPFA maintains panel of approved educational institutes for coaching on financial year basis. At present (March 2003) 22 APPROVED EDUCTIONAL INSTITUTES are on the panel registered for 2002-2003 and located at - Karachi (2), Lahore (3), Islamabad/ Rawalpindi (2), Peshawar (2), Faisalabad (4), Multan (2), Sheikhupura (1), Gujranwala (2), Sialkot (1) Rahim Yar Khan (1), Bhawalpur (1) and Hyderabad (1).
The scale of coaching fees of approved institutes is required not to be less than those prescribed by PIPFA for its own supervised classes.
Students are advised to obtain prior confirmation from PIPFA that particular approved institute where they intend to enroll for coaching is validly registered with PIPFA during relevant financial year. The approved institutes are only concerned with providing coaching facility. Rest of the matters e.g. registration, exemption, examination etc pertain to PIPFA.SUBJECTS OF STUDY The course of study is divided into three stages with the following thirteen subjects

Each stage of the program requires minimum period of about six months. Examinations are held twice a year, normally in May and November.GRID SYSTEM The examination of each subject is divided into two sets - an Objective Test and Subjective Questions.
In setting a paper the examiner will aim to achieve the following grids or weightage to the objective test component and the testing of knowledge and application thereof.

The above grids are independent of marks allocated in specification grids prescribed in the syllabus of each subject. The grids are given for guidance purpose only and minor deviations in the setting of a question paper may be expected.The subject-wise weightage or grid is given in the Syllabus of each subject. Those weight ages are indicative of broad distribution of different topics of a subject and there would be some deviation with actual weightage assigned in the question papers.EXAMINATION PROGRAM
The examinations are held twice a year during May/June and November /December. The indicative dates for submission of Examination forms are 2nd week April for Summer Examiantion in May
2nd week of October for Winter Examination in 2nd Week October
The Examination forms are accepted with 100% late fees within 5-7 days after close of the normal due date and with 200% late fees till 7 days before the start of Examination. The exact dates of examination and submission of forms are, however, notified separately through monthly Newsletter. Students are advised to obtain pertinent information in time from PIPFA Offices. Admit Cards and Grade Sheets containing result of examination are delivered through PIPFA Offices or Contact Office located in the city where examinations are held. Students should collect their Admit Cards personally between 2 to 7 days before the commencement of examinations and the Grade Sheets between 15 to 30 days after announcement of results from the relevant offices. ATTEMPT FOR EXAMINATION For the first time, a candidate has to attempt only one Stage of Examiantion. The candidate who has once attempted the Foundation examination (but could not clear the same wholly or partly) can next time attempt both Intermediate and Foundation examinations simultaneously. The candidate who has once attempted Intermediate Stage can appear in Final and Intermediate stages simultaneously provided he has completely cleared (by passing or exemption) the Foundation Stage. In no case a candidate is allowed to appear in more than two Stages at a time. The candidates awaiting result of B. Com are at present allowed to directly appear in the non-exempt two papers of Intermediate Stage in anticipation of exemption available upon their qualifying B. Com and resultant clearance of Foundation Stage completely.BASIS OF PASSING Examinations of Foundation and Intermediate stages can be passed on paper to paper basis. But the Final Sage examination is to be passed as a group with the following exception a)A candidate who secures 'A Grade' in any subject of Final Stage is allowed permanent pass in only that subject
b)A candidate who is successful in all papers of Final Stage except in one paper may be referred and allowed to take at the two immediately succeeding examinations that paper or a section of the paper again instead of reappearing in all the papers. A candidate who has failed to pass or has not attempted any paper or papers of any stage may offer himself again for that paper or papers on any subsequent occasion in such manner and within such period as may be prescribed by Board of Governors from time to time.EXAMINATION APPLICATION AND DATE Application for examination is to be submitted on the prescribed form, a copy of which may be obtained from Head Office, Zonal/Regional Branch of PIPFA or Contact office. The application duly completed is to be sent so as to reach PIPFA's Head Office at Karachi or Branch Office at Lahore by the prescribed date. Application for examination will be accepted only if the students have paid all dues and all other requirements are duly met.
The applications are accepted with 100% and 200% late fee within notified period after the closing date for submission of the application without any late fees. ADMIT CARD / ROLL NUMBER
Admit cards bearing Roll number of the candidates are delivered to them through PIPFA Offices or Contact Offices located in the city where examinations are held. These should be collected from these offices seven days before commencement of the examination. In case a candidate does not receive his Roll Number by this time he/she should immediately contact the Examination Department at Head Office by telephone on # 021-4380451 or 021-4380452 or Fax # 021-4524871.
Students are advised to write their full names as well as mailing address on ther examination application legibly and in Block Letters to ensure correct mailing delivery at the stated address. The examination applications, which do not meet these requirements, can be rejected summarily.CHANGE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE
A student whose application is accepted for a particular examination may change his centre at least 15 days before the commencement of the examination.USE OF CALCULATORS Candidates are allowed to use simple (and permitted models of scientific) calculators in the examination hall. They are, therefore, advised to bring calculators without programming with them. Only those log books and other calculating devices that are supplied by the examination authorities of the Institute at the Centres should be used. ADJUSTMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE
The examiantion fees once paid is not refunded. It can be considered for adjustment in the next examiantion in the exceptional circumstances where a candidate applies for the same before the last date of submission of forms (without late fees) for relevant examination and PIPFA is satisfied that the candidate was actually prevented from attending an examination on account of circumstances beyond his control. In all other circumstances the examiantion fees lapse.. RESULT OF EXAMINATION The Grade Sheets containing the result of examination are delivered through PIPFA Office or Contact Offices for all students except those residing in places other than the city where examinations are held. The result of out-station candidates is sent at the mailing address on the record. In case the student does not receive it within a month from the date of official announcement of result, Controller Examination at PIPFA Head Office should be approached.PIPFA does not enter into any correspondence with students as to the reasons for failure in an examination, re-totaling of Answer Scripts or other matter. The Examination Certificate is issued after the student completes all stages of the examinations.
RECHECKING OF ANSWER SCRIPT A candidate who desires rechecking of his answer script in any subject may do so by sending a request in writing to the Controller of Examinations along with fee at the @ Rs.500/- per paper in the shape of Demand Draft Payable to PIPFA Karachi.CONTACT OFFICES The information centers at cities other than Karachi and Lahore also work as Contact Offices for delivery of Admit Cards and Grade Sheets.OTHER INSTRUCTIONS The candidates should follow the guidelines about Preperation & Peformance and Instructions to the Examinees given in the Studnets Handbook. The should also keep themselves aware of dates of examiantion etc. and important announcements or policy changes published in montly Newsletter. FEE & CHARGES Fees and charges are payable to PIPFA through Demand Draft or Pay Order made in favour of 'Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants' or 'PIPFA and payable at any bank branch at Karachi. In case payment is deposited at PIPFA Lahore or Faisalabad Office the Demand Draft or Pay Order is to be drawn on any bank branch at Lahore or Faisalabad as the case may be. No Cash payment is accepted. Payments are also not accepted in money order, postal order or cheque. All payments are acknowledged through Official Receipt with pre-printed serial number and duly signed by the officer receiving the payment.

It is a non-profit organization wholly committed to accounting education and development. The name of the institution at inception was 'The Association of Accounting Technicians of Pakistan' (AAT). The current membership exceeds 2,700 and covers professionals working in industry, trade and services in both public and private sectors. PIPFA members in major cities elect Branch Committee for arranging seminars, work shops and meetings for advancement of accounting professiuon in general and professional development of PIPFA members and students in particular. Branch Committees comprise of six members, who elect from among themselves a Chariman and a Secretary. The Committee functions under the PIPFA Bye-laws. At present Branch Committees are functioning in six cities- Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Faisalabad. More committees are likely to be established in other cities in near future.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION The minimum qualification required for entry into the education program is Intermediate from a recognized education board or equivalent foreign qualification acceptable to PIPFA. Students having higher education - graduation, master degree or partly qualified from ICAP, ICMAP or ACCA, UK etc. are encouraged to join the education program and they form the majority in the students' strength.
REGISTRATION Students intending to joining PIPFA's education program have to submit admission application on prescribed Registration Form along with necessary documents and fees. Details of Registration Requirements. Registration can made any time during the year but generally students get registered during December-January and June-July corresponding with begining of coahcing classes for Summer and Winter Examinatios respectively. Students Handbook The Students Handbook containing all necessary details like Registration, Exemption, Examiantion, Syllabus etc. are available with PIPFA Offices and Contact Offices at a price of Rs. 50. The Handbook can also be obtained through courier or mail from PIPFA Head Office at Karachi at a price of Rs.80 payable through Demand Draft or Pay Order drawn on any bank branch at Karachi. EXEMPTION FOR SOME QUALIFICATIONS
Exemptions are available on qualifying any part or paper from ICAP, ICMAP or ACCA, UK. Exemptions are also available on qualifications of MBA, M.Com, B.Com, BBA, MA (Economics), CAT, LLB, Diploma or Graduation in IT, Graduation/Master Degree with study of relevant subjects, qualifications from Corporate/Chartered Secretaries and Taxation Management institutes and other relevant qualifications.

Exemptions are available upon full qualification except in case of ICAP/ICMAP/ACCA where part qualification or pass in any paper is considered.The exemptions specified above particularly for MBA, M. Com and B. Com/BBA are the maximum available dependent on adequate coverage of PIPFA's syllabus and qualification acquired from recognized institution. There is no prospect of considering exemptions beyond the maximum available hence no claim should be filed in this respect.EXEMPTION CLAIM Students desiring to avail exemptions should file their exemption claim on the prescribed Exemption Form or its copy along with the fees and attested copies of Degree/Certificate and Transcript/Mark Sheet of the qualification on the basis of which exemption is sought.The claim for exemption should be filed immediately on registration but notlater than February 15 for those appearing in Summer Examination and by August 15 in case of Winter Examination.Exemptions are optional. Those who do not want to avail exemption can do so without any formality.Exemptions are allowed according to the policy enforce at the time of grant of exemption for which PIPFA issues Exemption Certificates as evidence of acceptance of exemption claim.PRE-EVALUATION OF EXEMPTION Candidates can have pre-evaluation of their eligibility for exemption before actual enrollment or registration with PIPFA. For the purpose they should send transcripts/marks-sheets of their qualififications to PIPFA Head Office. They should also submit details of course contents where the course coverage is not very explicit from the transcripts/marks-sheets. Pre-evaluation is suggested particularly in the cases of MBA/ M. Com qualified persons.
COACHING ARRANGEMENT Before attempting any examination of PIPFA, it is obligatory for a candidate to attend at least once the coaching classes in the relevant subjects at PIPFA Supervised or Approved coaching centers. The coaching arrangement helps students prepare better for the examination and also impart knowledge useful for the practical life. The coaching classes are conducted usually from January to April for Summer Examination in May/June and from July to October for Winter Examination in November/December. The relaxation from attending coaching classes can be considered in the exceptional case when student is living at a place where arrangement for approved classes are not available and application for the relaxation is submitted at the begining of the session. Such students are supposed to maintain correspondance address of the same place as they are actually living.There is no correspondence course available.
COACHING FACILITIES Coaching facilities are at present available at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad/ Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Sialkot Rahim Yar Khan, Bhawalpur and Hyderabad. The faculty comprises of well-qualified teachers having practical knowledge of the field. The classes are conducted under PIPFA's own supervision (at Karachi and Lahore presently) as well as through Approved Educational Institutes.PIPFA SUPERVISED COACHNG CENTERS PIPFA supervised classes at Karachi are conducted in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan's Head Office Building at Chartered Accountants Avenue, Near Teen Talwar at Clifton. The supervised classes at Lahore are held at PIPFA's Lahore Office premises at 42-Civic Center, Barkat Market New Garden Town.
The class timings are 5-30 pm to 8-30 pm. The scale of fee chargeable for coaching is separately given. The students who had previously attended the compulsory classes but rejoin PIPFA Supervised Centers for re-fresher studies in any paper is granted 50% concession in coaching fees. Concession of 25% in coaching fees is also allowed to real brothers/sisters attending the coaching classes in the same session. In deserving cases coaching fees are allowed for payment in 2-3 installments. There is no other concession or relaxation in the fees.PIPFA maintains panel of approved educational institutes for coaching on financial year basis. At present (March 2003) 22 APPROVED EDUCTIONAL INSTITUTES are on the panel registered for 2002-2003 and located at - Karachi (2), Lahore (3), Islamabad/ Rawalpindi (2), Peshawar (2), Faisalabad (4), Multan (2), Sheikhupura (1), Gujranwala (2), Sialkot (1) Rahim Yar Khan (1), Bhawalpur (1) and Hyderabad (1).
The scale of coaching fees of approved institutes is required not to be less than those prescribed by PIPFA for its own supervised classes.
Students are advised to obtain prior confirmation from PIPFA that particular approved institute where they intend to enroll for coaching is validly registered with PIPFA during relevant financial year. The approved institutes are only concerned with providing coaching facility. Rest of the matters e.g. registration, exemption, examination etc pertain to PIPFA.SUBJECTS OF STUDY The course of study is divided into three stages with the following thirteen subjects

Each stage of the program requires minimum period of about six months. Examinations are held twice a year, normally in May and November.GRID SYSTEM The examination of each subject is divided into two sets - an Objective Test and Subjective Questions.
In setting a paper the examiner will aim to achieve the following grids or weightage to the objective test component and the testing of knowledge and application thereof.

The above grids are independent of marks allocated in specification grids prescribed in the syllabus of each subject. The grids are given for guidance purpose only and minor deviations in the setting of a question paper may be expected.The subject-wise weightage or grid is given in the Syllabus of each subject. Those weight ages are indicative of broad distribution of different topics of a subject and there would be some deviation with actual weightage assigned in the question papers.EXAMINATION PROGRAM
The examinations are held twice a year during May/June and November /December. The indicative dates for submission of Examination forms are 2nd week April for Summer Examiantion in May
2nd week of October for Winter Examination in 2nd Week October
The Examination forms are accepted with 100% late fees within 5-7 days after close of the normal due date and with 200% late fees till 7 days before the start of Examination. The exact dates of examination and submission of forms are, however, notified separately through monthly Newsletter. Students are advised to obtain pertinent information in time from PIPFA Offices. Admit Cards and Grade Sheets containing result of examination are delivered through PIPFA Offices or Contact Office located in the city where examinations are held. Students should collect their Admit Cards personally between 2 to 7 days before the commencement of examinations and the Grade Sheets between 15 to 30 days after announcement of results from the relevant offices. ATTEMPT FOR EXAMINATION For the first time, a candidate has to attempt only one Stage of Examiantion. The candidate who has once attempted the Foundation examination (but could not clear the same wholly or partly) can next time attempt both Intermediate and Foundation examinations simultaneously. The candidate who has once attempted Intermediate Stage can appear in Final and Intermediate stages simultaneously provided he has completely cleared (by passing or exemption) the Foundation Stage. In no case a candidate is allowed to appear in more than two Stages at a time. The candidates awaiting result of B. Com are at present allowed to directly appear in the non-exempt two papers of Intermediate Stage in anticipation of exemption available upon their qualifying B. Com and resultant clearance of Foundation Stage completely.BASIS OF PASSING Examinations of Foundation and Intermediate stages can be passed on paper to paper basis. But the Final Sage examination is to be passed as a group with the following exception a)A candidate who secures 'A Grade' in any subject of Final Stage is allowed permanent pass in only that subject
b)A candidate who is successful in all papers of Final Stage except in one paper may be referred and allowed to take at the two immediately succeeding examinations that paper or a section of the paper again instead of reappearing in all the papers. A candidate who has failed to pass or has not attempted any paper or papers of any stage may offer himself again for that paper or papers on any subsequent occasion in such manner and within such period as may be prescribed by Board of Governors from time to time.EXAMINATION APPLICATION AND DATE Application for examination is to be submitted on the prescribed form, a copy of which may be obtained from Head Office, Zonal/Regional Branch of PIPFA or Contact office. The application duly completed is to be sent so as to reach PIPFA's Head Office at Karachi or Branch Office at Lahore by the prescribed date. Application for examination will be accepted only if the students have paid all dues and all other requirements are duly met.
The applications are accepted with 100% and 200% late fee within notified period after the closing date for submission of the application without any late fees. ADMIT CARD / ROLL NUMBER
Admit cards bearing Roll number of the candidates are delivered to them through PIPFA Offices or Contact Offices located in the city where examinations are held. These should be collected from these offices seven days before commencement of the examination. In case a candidate does not receive his Roll Number by this time he/she should immediately contact the Examination Department at Head Office by telephone on # 021-4380451 or 021-4380452 or Fax # 021-4524871.
Students are advised to write their full names as well as mailing address on ther examination application legibly and in Block Letters to ensure correct mailing delivery at the stated address. The examination applications, which do not meet these requirements, can be rejected summarily.CHANGE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE
A student whose application is accepted for a particular examination may change his centre at least 15 days before the commencement of the examination.USE OF CALCULATORS Candidates are allowed to use simple (and permitted models of scientific) calculators in the examination hall. They are, therefore, advised to bring calculators without programming with them. Only those log books and other calculating devices that are supplied by the examination authorities of the Institute at the Centres should be used. ADJUSTMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE
The examiantion fees once paid is not refunded. It can be considered for adjustment in the next examiantion in the exceptional circumstances where a candidate applies for the same before the last date of submission of forms (without late fees) for relevant examination and PIPFA is satisfied that the candidate was actually prevented from attending an examination on account of circumstances beyond his control. In all other circumstances the examiantion fees lapse.. RESULT OF EXAMINATION The Grade Sheets containing the result of examination are delivered through PIPFA Office or Contact Offices for all students except those residing in places other than the city where examinations are held. The result of out-station candidates is sent at the mailing address on the record. In case the student does not receive it within a month from the date of official announcement of result, Controller Examination at PIPFA Head Office should be approached.PIPFA does not enter into any correspondence with students as to the reasons for failure in an examination, re-totaling of Answer Scripts or other matter. The Examination Certificate is issued after the student completes all stages of the examinations.
RECHECKING OF ANSWER SCRIPT A candidate who desires rechecking of his answer script in any subject may do so by sending a request in writing to the Controller of Examinations along with fee at the @ Rs.500/- per paper in the shape of Demand Draft Payable to PIPFA Karachi.CONTACT OFFICES The information centers at cities other than Karachi and Lahore also work as Contact Offices for delivery of Admit Cards and Grade Sheets.OTHER INSTRUCTIONS The candidates should follow the guidelines about Preperation & Peformance and Instructions to the Examinees given in the Studnets Handbook. The should also keep themselves aware of dates of examiantion etc. and important announcements or policy changes published in montly Newsletter. FEE & CHARGES Fees and charges are payable to PIPFA through Demand Draft or Pay Order made in favour of 'Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants' or 'PIPFA and payable at any bank branch at Karachi. In case payment is deposited at PIPFA Lahore or Faisalabad Office the Demand Draft or Pay Order is to be drawn on any bank branch at Lahore or Faisalabad as the case may be. No Cash payment is accepted. Payments are also not accepted in money order, postal order or cheque. All payments are acknowledged through Official Receipt with pre-printed serial number and duly signed by the officer receiving the payment.
