I think that the edge they get is because of their Presentation and Marketing skills. Usually when it comes to presentation , CA tends to rely on figures/numbers (which many others think as Boring), translate the same into some graphs, charts, add some animations plus a little style and suddenly they become interested. There is no doubt that all the ragraa adds experience into us. Plus in case of accounts and finance, we are masters since we know the depth of financial statements.
Additionally, I believe that past CA wanted to limit their role in accounts only. They were a different breed (no offence)and the times were then was of SELLERS. The times have changed now, and the market is of BUYERS and to attract the buyers, we have to change our image from pure accounts persons to a Business Partner.
