Dear Fizz
First of all, by starting this discussion, i did not mean to say that some qualification-holders are better than the other. What i meant was to discuss why are MBAs are preferred over CAs when both apply for a top-position job.
Secondly, i think that its better to know the strong and weak points of my competitors before i go into a match. If you don't know your opponent, then how do you expect to perform well and differently than your opponent. By the way, i do count MBAs as the opposing party!! If you don't think of them as opponents to your future well-being, just wait till your next job intreview, where you manage to outscore all the superb CAs applying alongside you, but then on the last hurdle, an MBA with a degree from an unknown university takes the job just because he is a MIGHTY MBA ... armed with all the tools of the trade, and the poor number-crunching CA gets the boot.
Thirdly, if you think that this discussion is childish and immature, then you don't have to participate in it. Remember, we live in a democracy, even if it is a bit flawed... but democracy it is! Please let us take out our pent-up anger in whatever peaceful manner we like.
P.S. Barristers always get the job in comparison with our desi LLBs, that is, if they both apply for the same job position... its all in the image, my dear...!
