Are you serious?... If you are then...The British High Schooling system is based on marking through percentile basis... The Ordinary Levels and Advanced Levels marking system is on percentile basis. A lot of other qualifications/academic examinations are based on it.

So its also followed in Pakistan and a number of other countries.
