If i am not mistaken, MYAS was already affiliated with Deloitte for the last year or so. Isnt this full membership status which has now been confirmed?

Pretty much the question in my mind. Early this year, MYASCO held a small conference (MYASCO's introduction) kind of thing before the test for students who had applied for articles. Their Human Resource Manager, Mr. Hashim Ismail Hirani, stated MYASCO's affiliation (at that time) with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. So how come they got affiliated on 17th Oct 2003?
